Groove Render captures unique images of music. These images reflect the music's nature, qualities and the environment in which it's experienced. The shape, form and visual qualities are influenced by the music's BPM, valence, energy and acousticness. The location and time of listening also affect the image, with elements like temperature, sun, clouds and rain playing a role. Finally, the information and data used to create the portrait are incorporated into the final image.

Ink colour
The ink colour corresponds to the current external temperature. The background is a tint of the complementary colour.
Line quality
Line weight and quality reflect the sound's nature; chalky lines for softer music and harder edges for harder music.
Pattern density
Pattern density depends on light levels: closer denser lines indicate low light while clear skies create open, separate lines.
Location
The traditional centre hole on a vinyl record represents the listener's location. The secondary coloured dot shows the performer's position relative to it.
